Not always. Amazon accepts individual sellers, but Walmart and Temu’s US program ask for a registered business, and supplier invoices should match your business name. We recommend the right setup for the marketplaces you plan to use.
Besides state renewals, a US LLC owned by one non-US person must send the IRS Form 5472 with a simple Form 1120 every year, even with no US income. Missing it can bring a $25,000 penalty, so we put it on your calendar and recommend an accountant to file it.
