This policy explains what personal information EcomSteward collects when you visit ecomsteward.com or contact us, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and specific: we only collect what we need to answer inquiries, run our services and measure our advertising.

EcomSteward (“we”, “us”) is an e-commerce management agency. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

Information we collect
Information you give us
When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, company name, phone or WhatsApp number, the marketplaces you select, and your message. Company, phone and marketplaces are optional. If you email, call or message us on WhatsApp, we receive whatever you choose to share in that conversation.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data. Our web server records your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, as all websites do. Your IP address and the time of your message are included in the inquiry email we receive, to help us spot abuse.
- A security cookie. The contact page sets one strictly necessary cookie,
es_session, which protects the form against automated spam and forged submissions. It contains no personal details and is deleted when you close your browser. - Your display choice. If you switch between light and dark mode, the choice is saved in your own browser so the site remembers it. Your browser also notes when the opening animation has played, so it shows only once per visit; that note is cleared when you close the tab. Neither is ever sent to us.
- Spam protection. Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that messages come from a person, not a bot. Cloudflare receives technical information such as your IP address and browser details for that check, under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
- Live chat and website analytics. We use HubSpot for the chat window and to see how our pages are used. If you start a chat, HubSpot keeps that conversation and sets cookies so it can recognize you on a later visit. If your browser sends a privacy signal (Global Privacy Control), the chat still works but HubSpot tracking is switched off.

How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry and arrange your Free Store Audit.
- To provide our services if you become a client.
- To understand how people find our website and whether our advertising works.
- To keep our website and forms secure and prevent spam.
- To comply with legal obligations.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on these legal bases: taking steps at your request before a contract (replying to inquiries), our legitimate interests (running and securing our business), your consent where the law requires it (advertising cookies), and legal obligation.
Meta Pixel and advertising
We use the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms, Inc. (the company behind Facebook and Instagram). It sets cookies such as _fbp and tells Meta which pages you visit on our site and whether you send an inquiry. Meta may combine this with information it already holds about you. We use the results to measure our ads and to show relevant ads to people who have visited our site. We do not send your form answers to Meta.
You can stop this at any time:
- Global Privacy Control. If your browser or extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, our website does not load the Meta Pixel at all.
- Meta’s ad settings. Manage how Meta uses your data at facebook.com/adpreferences.
- Your browser. Block or delete third-party cookies in your browser settings.
Meta’s own use of your information is covered by the Meta Privacy Policy.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with:
- Service providers who run our website hosting and email on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations.
- Meta Platforms, Inc., through the Meta Pixel described above.
- Cloudflare, Inc., which runs the spam check on our contact form.
- HubSpot, Inc., which provides our live chat, website analytics and the record of your inquiry.
- Authorities or advisers when the law requires it, or to protect our rights.
- A buyer or successor if our business is reorganized or sold, under the same protections.
Under some US state laws, using the Meta Pixel for advertising can count as “sharing” personal information. You can opt out with Global Privacy Control or by emailing us, as described below.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries for as long as we need them to respond and follow up, and delete them within 24 months of our last contact with you unless you become a client. Client information is kept for the length of our working relationship and any period the law requires afterwards. Security logs are kept only for a short period.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy;
- correct information that is wrong;
- ask us to delete your information;
- opt out of “sharing” for targeted advertising, or object to how we use your information;
- withdraw consent you have given, at any time.
To use any of these rights, email info@ecomsteward.com. We reply within 30 days and will not treat you differently for making a request. We may need to confirm your identity first. If you are in the EEA or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
International transfers
We operate from the United Kingdom, the United States, the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan, and work with clients around the world. Your information may be processed in any of these countries, and in other countries where our service providers operate. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
Security
Our website runs over encrypted HTTPS connections, and our contact form includes protections against spam and forged submissions. Access to inquiries is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
Our website and services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version. If the changes are significant, we will make that clear on this page.
